Benefit to Save Them All - Rescheduled for Monday, April 3
Due to inclement weather hitting New York City and the Northeast on Tuesday, March 14th, we have rescheduled the Benefit to Save Them All to take place on Monday, April 3. The event will still be held at Guastavino's, an architectural masterpiece and New York City landmark, for an evening of live music, fine wine, gourmet food and four-legged friends, with Co-Chairs David O'Connor and Lona Williams, benefiting Best Friends Animal Society and honoring Patricia and Michael Levitt. These adoption events bring dogs and cats from Animal Care Centers of NYC and our other local rescue partners to pet stores in Brooklyn and Manhattan for adoption. Join us on Wednesdays and Saturdays for our weekly cat mobile adoptions and every Sunday for our weekly dog mobile adoptions. Please check our calendar for details.
This national dog walk, festival and fundraiser is held annually and benefits not only animals helped by Best Friends, but also animals at local rescue groups, shelters and other organizations that are part of Best Friends’ No More Homeless Pets Network. Hosted by Best Friends each fall in more than a dozen locations around the country, including New York City, Strut Your Mutt is a big and fun event, so lots of volunteers are needed to pull it off successfully. Our annual Strut Your Mutt will take place in NYC at Pier 26 in Tribeca on October 7, 2017. Learn how to get involved here.
Super adoption events are a cooperative effort in which local shelters and rescue groups come together in a fun, festival-like atmosphere to find homes for hundreds of animals during one weekend. The participating shelters and rescue groups are partners of Best Friends. Our next Super Adoption will take take place June 2 - 4 at the Metropolitan Pavillion in Manhattan (125 W 18th St, New York, NY 10011).
