PAC line for Clear the Shelters
Twenty-eight dogs and cats find their forever homes

Best Friends in New York, along with hundreds of other animal welfare organizations, came together on August 19 for Clear the Shelters, a nationwide adoption initiative led by NBC and Telemundo.

Eager and excited potential adopters were lined up outside the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center prior the 11 a.m. opening, and the line continued until after 2 p.m. The event drew nearly 500 visitors, with the first 50 receiving a Best Friends swag bag. Best Friends waived adoption fees during the event and 28 lucky dogs and cats found their forever homes. Check out some of the action below!
