Local Events
Best Friends Animal Society holds a number of flagship events in and around New York City throughout the year, including Strut Your Mutt and the Best Friends Benefit to Save Them All.
In addition, we participate in numerous adoption events, partnerships with local businesses and awareness initiatives to raise awareness surrounding the importance of adoption and find loving homes for the animals in our care, and the care of our rescue partners. Holiday Adoption Promo!
Thanks to Mica and Laureen Hill and their rescue dog Scooter, all pets six months or older will be available for adoption at just $25 on Saturday, December 21st! Come to our Lifesaving Center from 12-7pm and find your new best friend in time for the holidays and the new year.
